In March/08 at the CKOC show in Calgary, he took Winners Male and Best of Opposite on Saturday under judge Janet Lobb, and again on Sunday, under judge Skip Stanbridge.
In April, at the Renaissance Dog Assoc., in Chilliwack, BC, Phoenix showed very well taking Best of Breed on Friday under judge John Connolly and on Sunday going Winners Male, Best of Winners, Best Puppy in Breed and on to Best of Breed over a Specials Male under judge Roger Hartinger.
May/08 took Phoenix to the Hub City KOC in Saskatoon. There he took Best of Breed on Saturday and on to Best Puppy in Group-thank you to judge Phyllis Wolfish, who also had some very nice compliments on our boy. Then on Sunday, we were ecstatic when he repeated the Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Group under judge Skip Stanbridge.
At just over 9 months of age, Phoenix is at 9 points toward his CKC championship. A big thank you goes to all the judges and to Kim Cowie for her expert grooming and handling.
Phoenix will be taking a well deserved break until the show in Springbank in July/08.
