Hey Jude is a very special PWD. He lives with his guardian Grace McDonald in Winnipeg and is her assistance dog. He has learned to perform a multitude of tasks for Grace including carrying and putting away groceries, opening and closing doors including the refrigerator, and picking up and retrieving items. In November, Hey Jude was awarded his official Assistance Dog Certificate and is now able to accompany Grace wherever she goes. Grace, who bred yellow labs for 30 years, tells me he’s the smartest dog she’s ever had. He is a rock star in the show ring as well. During his short conformation show career he won multiple Best Puppy in Groups, an adult Group 3rd, three adult Group 4ths, and a Best Puppy In Show! There’s no doubt that Jude could be hugely successful competing in conformation but for now he is happy to stay at Grace’s side. Hey Jude is available for limited stud service to approved bitches.
